Richard Mojica will speak at Georgetown Law's 45th Annual International Trade Update conference on May 21, 2024. Mojica will present, as a part of a panel, "Hot Topics in Customs Enforcement." Session topics include:

• Discuss how enforcement tools, including the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act and Section 592 of the Tariff Act of 1930, are being applied and tested
• Assess the state of Enforce and Protect Act proceedings before Customs and Border Patrol and as a result of the Federal Circuit’s due process decision
• Explore potential changes to de minimis and e-commerce enforcement standards both in the United States and abroad
