Joanne Roskey will speak at the American Bar Association (ABA) webinar "50 Years of ERISA Preemption: Where Do We Stand?" on September 17, 2024. The webinar will address current issues relating to ERISA preemption within the context of 50 years of caselaw defining the scope and limits of ERISA's preemptive effect. Panelists will review recent litigation involving the intersection between state laws and ERISA, including state PBM regulation, automatic IRAs, and local benefit ordinances to explain how the law is evolving.
