Lisandra Ortiz and Loren Ponds will speak at the ABA 2022 Virtual Midyear Tax Meeting on February 3-4, 2022.

Ortiz will participate in the "Women in Tax Forum," a panel discussion on February 3. Panelists will discuss a variety of topics including making yourself heard when you are one of few women in a conversation, how to build reputational capital, building and maintaining connections during COVID-19, and effective ways to mentor and be mentored.

On February 4, Ponds will present, as part of a panel, "US Activities of Foreigners & Tax Treaties." This panel will discuss global implementation of the OECD/G20 Pillars 1 and 2, including whether and how the U.S. may address the changes by amending its treaties.
