Jorge Castro will speak at the American Bar Association 12th Annual U.S. and Latin America Tax Practice Trends Conference on June 13 ,2019, in Miami, FL.  Castro will co-chair the panel, "Impact of U.S. Tax Reform on U.S. Companies Investing in Latin America: What Could Companies Expect in the Future?"

The U.S. tax reform legislation affects the way in which U.S. companies structure their operations in Latin America. The panel will discuss the latest challenges that U.S. companies and their subsidiaries are facing in Latin America as a result of the 2017 Tax Act as well as potential tax policy and regulatory changes in the U.S. and Latin America that companies should be aware of.
