Washington, DC

Timothy O'Toole will speak on the panel at the American Bar Association Section of International Law 2018 U.S. Sanctions Year-in-Review on February 19, 2019, in Washington, DC.

The eighth annual U.S. sanctions and U.S. export controls year-in-review events will discuss significant developments in 2018 with respect to U.S. sanctions targeting Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela; the Export Control Reform Act of 2018; and developments under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

After a busy 2018, these events will be helpful to, among others, compliance personnel updating and reviewing policies and procedures to make sure they reflect current U.S. sanctions and export controls. The panel will also discuss enforcement trends under U.S. sanctions and export controls.
