Timothy O'Toole will speak at the Informa Connect "Asset Recovery International 2025: Fraud Litigation, Enforcement & Contention Insolvency" conference on February 6, 2025. O'Toole will present, as a part of a panel, "Sanctions in Asset Recovery." This panel will discuss new challenges arising in the asset recovery sphere as a result of sanctions. Discussion topics include: 

• Can creditors seize sanctioned assets?
• How do sanctions (whether against an insolvent company or its creditors) impact the ability to put a company into an insolvency process, and indeed the work of the insolvency practitioner thereafter?
• How are the Courts treating sanctioned parties who seek indulgences?
