William Barry and Timothy O'Toole will speak at the Economic Crime Prevention & Compliance Conference on March 7-8, 2023, in Zurich, Switzerland.

O'Toole will present "Sanctions: How to Navigate Through the Current Economic Sanctions Jungle and Minimise Enforcement Risks," on March 7. This panel will examine the latest sanctions developments and determine practical tips to reduce the risk of enforcement.

On March 8, Barry will present, as part of a panel, "Third Party and Supply Chain Management: Navigating Around Corruption, Human Rights and Due Diligence in High-Risk Markets." Panelists will discuss topics including how to deal with local customs and regulation changes in high-risk markets, verify the extent of due diligence required for third-party relationships, and examine the future expansion of the EU's requirements on due diligence – particularly with regard to conflict minerals, child labour, and the exploitation of workers.
