Bodman attorneys Joseph J. Shannon, Jeffrey G. Raphelson, and Emily A. Cross will present, "A Survey of Recent Trends in Supplier Disputes," a discussion on recent trends in supplier disputes caused by escalating costs (raw materials, labor, transportation, freight, etc.), including force majeure/commercial impracticability, stop ship threats, purchase order acknowledgements or rejections, and injunction litigation, focusing primarily on activity in various Michigan courts.
Miller & Chevalier Members Richard A. Mojica and Daniel A. Solomon and Kharon Analyst Ethan Woolley will present, "UFLPA Enforcement Update: Focus on Forced Labor in the Automotive Supply Chain." This presentation will discuss U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) enforcement of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), the congressional investigation into auto supply chain links to forced labor in the Xinjiang region of China, and the use of technology to conduct supplier due diligence.
