Timothy O'Toole will speak at the Export Compliance Training Institute's (ECTI) ITAR, EAR, and OFAC Export Controls Seminar on November 8-11, 2021, in Washington, DC.

This seminar series provides both novice and experienced export compliance professionals with a comprehensive education on complying with U.S. export regulations. Reform changes have relaxed the controls on some defense-related items and technology, but have made understanding and complying with the regulations even more complicated. The shift of many military and space items from the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) obliges exporters to learn the challenging ins and outs of the EAR. The good news is that these complex rules impose significantly fewer compliance burdens and fewer compliance-based export delays.
