Maryna Kavaleuskaya,* Ann Sultan, and Michael Skopets* published an article on the key findings of the 2018 Europe-Caucasus-Asia (ECA) Corruption Survey, which compared the corruption levels and anti-corruption compliance across countries located in the ECA region. The survey shows that the use of anti-corruption safeguards by companies in various countries of the ECA region is nuanced. According to the authors, "Approximately 92 percent of respondents for Kazakhstan and 82 percent of respondents for Russia indicated that their companies have anti-corruption policies in place," while "respondents for Estonia, Belarus, Latvia, and Georgia noted the lowest levels of implementation of anti-corruption safeguards at their companies."
