Facundo Galeano is an Associate in Miller & Chevalier's International department. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Galeano was with UPM – The Biofore Company as Compliance Counsel, North America, where he provided legal and policy advice on anti-corruption and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance issues. Before that, he was Legal Counsel in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Mr. Galeano also worked for the Center for International Private Enterprise as a legal consultant in the Anti-Corruption and Governance Center, where he conducted research on anti-corruption regulations in Latin America and developed anti-corruption training and capacity building for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Latin America.
Mr. Galeano received his J.D. from the University of Montevideo Law School, and an LL.M. in Business Law from American University Washington College of Law.
