Maame Esi Austin is a Senior Associate in the Litigation department and focuses her practice on counseling and representing multi-national corporations and domestic and international clients in a broad range of commercial actions including complex civil litigation matters, cross border investigations and enforcement actions, internal investigations, and white collar defense.
Prior to joining Miller & Chevalier, Ms. Austin worked at an Am Law 200 firm where she represented clients in complex litigation in state and federal courts.
While in law school, Ms. Austin served as managing editor of Cornell's International Law Journal, was an associate editor at Cornell's Legal Information Institute, and served as a Harold Oaklander Fellow and law clerk for Maryland Legal Aid.
Prior to law school, Ms. Austin served as Consul and Head of Chancery at the Consulate of Ghana in Toronto.
