The Hedge Fund Law Report shared insights from James Tillen and Leah Moushey's Practising Law Institute (PLI) webinar "Compliance Expectations for Mobile Device Data," where they discussed strategies for identifying risks and implementing company-wide policies governing mobile device use. "According to the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Program Memorandum (ECCP), the ability to produce mobile device data is one of the factors the DOJ considers when determining whether a corporation's compliance program is adequate and effective," Tillen said. "Other countries with compliance expectations aligned with those of the U.S. are likely to adopt a similarly aggressive approach," Moushey added.
