"0 Execs Expect 2014 Tax Reform: Miller & Chevalier Survey"

Marc Gerson commented on the limited optimism by executives for tax reform in 2014. Business leaders believe the forecast for tax reform in Congress this year is unlikely, according to an annual survey released by Miller & Chevalier in conjunction with the National Foreign Trade Council. Not one of the surveyed tax executives predicted reform will occur this year. "Respondents don't believe comprehensive tax reform can be enacted given the current legislative and political environment, but are hopeful that short-term priorities such as the tax extenders package will be addressed," Gerson said.
