Marc Gerson commented on the prospects for fundamental tax reform in 2014. According to Gerson, the tax reform effort would receive a boost if House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-Mich.) can pass a bill in the committee or if President Barack Obama's administration expresses support for such an effort, either through public comments from the President or in the administration's budget request for fiscal year 2015.
