Marc Gerson was quoted in The Hill regarding the results of the 10th Annual Miller & Chevalier and National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC) Tax Policy Forecast Survey. None of the survey participants think tax reform will happen this year, and 82 percent think there won't be any tax legislation at all. The survey results are a "confirmation of the current environment," Gerson said, adding that while there is a lot of discussion about tax reform in Congress and in the presidential campaigns, business tax executives acknowledge that "this would be a very difficult year to move tax reform forward."
