Marc Gerson was quoted in Tax Analysts regarding the lack of tax reform as it impacts industry stakeholders, following the 10th Annual Miller & Chevalier and National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC) Tax Policy Forecast Survey. None of this year's survey respondents believe tax reform will happen. Gerson said these results point to the current political landscape, in which lawmakers are discussing tax policy and reform but little action is being taken, and the administration is unwilling to pass legislation for the short term. "There is a view that Congress has tried, but it's not a priority for the [Obama] administration," he said.
