Anti-Corruption Report
In the Anti-Corruption Report, Matteson Ellis discussed what we can expect this year of the Department of Justice's (DOJ) efforts to address misconduct globally, considering the recent deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) between German-based software company SAP and the DOJ. "SAP was the first FCPA resolution in 2024 and shows the DOJ giving incentives to a company in line with this guidance. We should expect to see more FCPA resolutions in 2024 that do the same, by rewarding companies that take DOJ policy guidance seriously and perhaps penalizing those that don't," Ellis concluded.
