Richard Mojica discussed the extensive expansion of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) Entity List, including companies that mine and manufacture critical minerals and inputs for solar modules, over the alleged use of forced labor. "Given the recent additions to the UFLPA Entity List, we can expect an uptick of UFLPA detentions in the automotive industry, particularly related to EV batteries, since the industry relies heavily on minerals such as aluminum, lithium, and cobalt," Mojica said.
